So, as promised, we have finally come up with OUR registry favorites!! After getting to talk to Sara, from Blueprint Registry, about some of her and Lizzie's favorite registry items, we decided we're going to share some of ours with y'all as well. (And if you haven't checked out Blueprint Registry---seriously drop everything and go look now!) The list is our cant-live-without items we use in the kitchen. Maybe some could live without--but we choose not to!
Iron Skillet
This practically indestructible, affordable, pan may be the only pan you will ever need. This pan, if properly seasoned, doesn’t need as much oil making your meal healthier and will cook everything with more flavor. If you love to eat at home, it will be your go to cooking essential every time you enter the kitchen. The best part---it’s non-stick, so you don’t spend hours cleaning it afterwords!

Stainless Steel Bowls
Bowls are my lifesaver. You always need something to mix ingredients in, marinate meat in, all the above. Mixing bowls are perfect for all things prep.
Whisk
This one item is used much more than you would imagine. If you want to scramble eggs, whip up cream, or mix in batter, you’ll need a whisk. Yes, it would be awesome to have a Kitchen Aid do everything, but you want to save space or be economical, a proper whisk is the way to go.
Processor
This processor is my favorite kitchen tool. You can whip up some hummus or chop veggies real smooth. I mince up cauliflower with mine for a homemade cauliflower pizza. It can come in hand when making smoothies, or even just cutting food finely.
Strainer
At first you may think, pasta. Wrong. There is so much more you can do. Yes, straining pasta out of water is great, but it can help you make numerous other things such as soups and broths. You can use it to rinse off your veggies and fruits, and if you want steamed veggies, use it as a steaming basket.
Measuring Cups and Spoons
If you ever follow any sort of recipe, you’ll need these. Especially when you are cooking things like rice or quinoa, you need exact measurements, so don’t mess around, just get these and make your life easier.
Nice Knife Set
This is the one thing that may be impossible to do without. You seriously can’t get by if you don’t have knives. Any meal you start to make will ask for "minced this" or "chopped that" or "diced whatever". A knife set can do all the above, and a nice one can do even more!
Can Opener
This is more for convenience. Typically, I don’t use a lot of cans for cooking, but we all know that if you even need to open one can, you need the can opener. It will save you when you’d rather buy a 15-ounce can of diced tomatoes instead of chopping them up yourself.
If you are currently registering for your home, don't forget these essentials! They will make your home-cooking ten times easier and better!
