For starters, everybody wants the ambiance of fall. To get the perfect ambiance (especially down here in the South) Try a late October, early November, wedding. Just in time for it to start getting chilly and Mother Nature to scatter the ground with a parade of orange and yellow leaves, setting the scene for your perfect day.
Another great thing about fall, are the pumpkins. Another one of Mother Nature’s greatest gifts. Pumpkins are only ripe and ready to come off the vine this time of the year, which is why they’ve basically become the universal sign for fall. There are so many things you can do with pumpkins, from escort cards, to table or ceremony décor; it’s not a fall wedding without them!
Now, I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite things to do in the fall in cozy up next to a fire with some hot chocolate. Why not bring that cozy feeling to your reception? Add the fall “warm” drinks, like apple cider and hot chocolate, and maybe a “fall decorated” fireplace (with those cute pumpkins)!
The best thing is, you can play up your favorite aspects of fall in your wedding! Use leaves for aisle décor, and table runners. Those pumpkins can even be used as signs to welcome your guests. So when you are planning that “perfect fall wedding” of yours, use your own ideas! Pick out your favorite things of fall use them to set the ambiance and you’ll have everyone “fall-ing” in love with your wedding!
